Utility Shed Design
This project was about creating a utility shed design on Revit®. In Revit® it is easier to create a design than on sketch it helps you see the realistic view and helps visualize your creation more easier. There was 3 parts to this project I followed the instructions very carefully to create this design. This project had 8 different constraints which are
- 12ft x 16ft footprint
- 8ft wall height
- One exterior wall should include brick
- 3 exterior walls with 2 x 4 wood frame construction and siding
- 6in concrete floor
- Gable roof
- One single panel exterior door
- At least 2 windows

I believe that this project is a good way to practice and learn how to use Revit®. It is a good way to prepare me for future projects. At first I thought it would be very difficult to use Revit® and now that I have used it I believe it a good tool to create structures. It taught me how to make a wall, roof, and floor, how to change the material used for a wall, roof and floor, and how to change the dimensions of the structure. I also learned how to create a B-sized construction drawing. I believe my utility shed design came out pretty good, and I believe you could actually use it to in reality and it would have support and will be a safe structure and will not collapse. I really liked this project. I hope to use Revit® for future projects. Thank you for giving me this experience.
